Live Inspired| Turning Pain Into Possibilities
My lived experiences have shaped me and made me deeply aware of overbearing systems and the weight people carry moving through them. My work comes from having worked under sustained stress and learning to treat challenge not as a limitation, but as information that builds agency and possibility. From that place, I support individuals and their organisations reclaim authorship of their lives and their sense of joy through grounded, practical, preventive guidance that honours real people and real responsibility.
Misery does not get the final word.
Preventive wellbeing and burnout prevention are about improving the conditions around people so they can breathe, think clearly, and make choices with dignity.
Before formalising my current practice, I founded Silhouette’s Café, a wellness company centred on herbs, natural remedies, and my own line of essential oils, Silhouette’s Essentials. Through both my Dallas storefront and online presence, I saw firsthand how gentler, more “alternative” ways of caring for the body and mind could support relaxation, deeper sleep, and emotional regulation. That experience shaped my understanding that wellbeing is built through everyday rituals, environments, and choices, and it continues to inform my work today.
My work did not begin in theory. It was shaped through personal experience, where I came to understand how prolonged stress and emotional strain quietly reshape identity, confidence, and purpose.
That understanding led me to focus on prevention rather than recovery alone.
That lived understanding became the place from which I wrote The Decision Is Just the Beginning and Healing from Emotional Traumas, books exploring agency, emotional awareness, and how people can make choices that protect their wellbeing.
Meanwhile, I have spent over two decades teaching and supporting people with diverse learning profiles and special educational needs, alongside curriculum development and educational leadership. Being inside high-pressure systems has sharpened my understanding of how stress can undermine health, erode wellbeing, and eventually lead to burnout.
My work includes both coaching and consulting.
Coaching supports individuals to reflect and make sense of their experiences with clarity.
Consulting supports organisations to improve systems and environment to sustain rather than strain wellbeing. conditions, so they sustain, rather than strain, wellbeing.
This work is not therapy, counselling, or clinical intervention. It does not involve diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.
Preventive wellbeing support focuses on awareness and practical strategies that complement existing therapeutic or safeguarding support where needed.
For over two decades, education has been one of my greatest teachers. I have supported learners with diverse learning profiles and special educational needs, alongside curriculum work and leadership. Being inside schools and institutions showed me something early on. Burnout is not rare, and it is not random.
My work did not come from theory. It came from living inside sustained stress and watching what it can do to a person over time. Stress can erode health, drain wellbeing, and quietly reshape identity, confidence, and purpose. That is when I stopped treating burnout like a personal weakness and started naming it as a systems signal.
I founded Silhouette’s Café as a wellness company centred on herbs, natural remedies, and my own essential oils, Silhouette’s Essentials. Through my Dallas storefront and my online presence, I saw how simple daily rituals can support relaxation, deeper sleep, and emotional regulation. That experience still informs how I think about prevention, not as a buzzword, but as lived practice.
Lived experience pushed me to write what I wish more people were taught earlier. The Decision Is Just the Beginning and Healing from Emotional Traumas explore agency, emotional awareness, and the choices that protect your wellbeing. They are not motivational speeches. They are grounded reflections on what it takes to rebuild yourself on your own terms.
Today, I bring my teacher lens, lived experience, and preventive approach into work with individuals and organisations under pressure. This is for people who are done pretending they are okay. We build what actually holds up in real life, so stress does not get to write the ending.
My work is shaped by both lived experience and formal training. I bring over two decades of practice inside high-pressure systems, alongside rigorous professional preparation.
